• THIS IS AN EXPANSION TO THE BROKEN COMPASS ROLEPLAYING GAME: This is not a standalone game. You will need the Broken Compass Adventure Journal Core Rulebook in order to play with this expansion.
• ADVENTURE ROLEPLAYING GAME: Broken Compass is an Adventure Role-Playing Game inspired by the great movies and games of the genre, from the Mummy to Uncharted, passing through Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider. "Not all fortune is silver and gold". Hoist the Jolly Roger and set sail to the Caribbean to become a true pirate!
• BASED ON THE FORTUNE SYSTEM: This set of game mechanics uses small pools of six-sided dice to determine the outcome of any task that might entail risks or end in accidents. To succeed, you don’t need to roll high totals. Your aim is to roll two-, three-, and four-of-a-kind results, which become Successes.
• IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE JOLLY ROGER: This expansion will provide you all you need to go on great Adventures in the Caribbean Sea in the golden age of piracy. Includes additional rules for Dueling, Gambling and Naval Battles, as well as a ready-to-play On Demand Season.
• NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: Broken Compass is an exciting adventure roleplaying game for 2 to 5 players and is suitable for ages 14 and older. Average playtime is approximately 120 minutes.
